Home Information Packs (or HIPS) are required on all properties coming onto the market with very few exceptions. Although Whitehouse Porter do not supply a HIP directly we are happy to point you in the right direction. Our view is that a HIP is a legal document and is therefore best dealt with by your solicitor. Local solicitors seem to be providing HIPs at a very reasonable price and should not cost more than £300 for a freehold property.
